On the afternoon of July 16, the Vietnamese men's volleyball team played the opening match of the second leg of SEA V.League 2025 against the Cambodian team.
In stage 1, the Vietnamese team won convincingly 3-0 against their opponents and in this rematch, Ngoc Thuan and his teammates continued to get the same result.
In set 1, the two teams played a tug-of-war, constantly chasing each other in terms of points. But at the decisive moments, the Vietnamese team played with more courage to win 25-23.
Set 2 was much easier for the Vietnamese team. Coach Tran Dinh Tien's players started well, creating a safe gap in the middle of the set before winning 25-19.
The third set saw the efforts of the Cambodian team but once again, the Vietnamese team showed their mettle at crucial moments, before winning 25-21.
Defeating Cambodia 3-0 (25-23, 25-19, 25-21), the Vietnamese men's team got their first victory in the second round of SEA V.League 2025.
In the second match taking place tomorrow, July 17, Ngoc Thuan and his teammates will face host Indonesia, the team that defeated the Vietnamese team in the first leg with a score of 3-2.
