In a country located half a world away from Vietnam, the biggest difficulty that the Vietnamese futsal team needs to overcome is the change in biological rhythm. The 11-hour time difference between Vietnam and Paraguay is truly a big challenge that requires coach Diego Giustozzi and the players to make every effort to adapt to the new environment as soon as possible.
The Vietnamese futsal team was escorted back to their accommodation by police in special vehicles.
Therefore, on the first day of operation, head coach Diego Giustozzi gave priority to exercises to restore physical condition as well as create excitement for the players. In the morning, fitness coach Giuliano had the players warm up in the gym to reduce inertia before the whole team went jogging along the Paraguay River in the capital Asuncion.
The Vietnam futsal team will maintain the training intensity of 2 sessions/day, morning exercise and afternoon technical and tactical practice in the coming days. The team's friendly match schedule will also have adjustments in the kick-off time of some matches.
