The competition has 7 teams with nearly 100 athletes, the 7 best teams selected from the District Competition. The teams go through two rounds: Theory to answer questions about knowledge, directives related to fire prevention and rescue work; practical part to handle situations such as: pressing the alarm bell, breaking the lock to rescue victims, using fire extinguishers to extinguish fires and moving assets for the type of housing combined with production and business.

Speaking at the contest, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Viet Phuong emphasized that fire prevention and rescue work with the motto "4 on-site" (forces - means - logistics - command in the people) is always given top priority to proactively prevent fires, explosions, accidents and incidents. The contest is a bridge, conveying vivid, visual images and messages to each person, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere in the movement of All people participating in fire prevention and fighting.
At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to the Ham Yen district team, the second prize to the Na Hang district team, the third prize to the Son Duong district team, and consolation prizes to the remaining 4 teams. At the same time, the first, second, and third prizes were awarded in the theoretical and practical competitions to the teams with high scores.

Ham Yen district team will represent Tuyen Quang province to participate in the Regional I Competition (including 14 provinces in the Northern Midlands and Mountains) held in Thai Nguyen province next June.
