The Vietnamese team is about to conclude its 10-day training trip in Korea. On December 5, coach Kim Sang-sik will have his full squad when the Nam Dinh Club players can join the Vietnam national team. The whole team will practice for 1 day in Vietnam, then travel to Laos to get used to the climate, living and playing conditions.

According to the tournament regulations, the team participating in the AFF Cup 2024 will consist of a maximum of 26 players. Coach Kim Sang-sik will finalize the list of 26 players competing in the AFF Cup 1 day before the match against Laos.
