Young people are excited to experience electric cars

Right from the entrance, the VinFast Saigon South showroom attracted hundreds of people to stop and learn, most of whom were students curious about the feeling of driving an electric motorbike, in the context of the green transportation trend becoming popular in urban areas.

At the event, dozens of car models such as Evo, Feliz, Vero X… were arranged into separate areas with dedicated staff, creating conditions for guests to experience the real thing.

Driving an electric car for the first time, Nguyen Hai My (Duc Nhuan ward) said the feeling of driving was "surprisingly smooth", the light control and simple operations made her very excited.

Similarly, Huynh Bao Ngoc, a student at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, said that he was only used to driving gasoline cars.

Seeing the electric car running silently, just press the gas and the car jumps forward, I really like it. Plus the buttons are more modern than the gas car my family is using.

Ms. Thanh Huong (Binh Thanh ward) said that VinFast booth was the first place she stopped by to look for a car with a youthful design.

After experiencing it, Ms. Thanh Huong commented that the car has good acceleration, smooth movement, and especially a friendly feeling because it does not emit smoke.

Many parents also took the opportunity to learn about preferential policies. According to Ms. Thuy Giao - a consultant of VinFast Saigon South, all electric car models are being discounted up to 12%, the current price ranges from 11 to 31 million VND.

For example, the Vero X model costs 31 million VND including battery and charger. Customers can also buy additional batteries to extend the travel distance. During the event, the "Gas for Electricity Exchange Station" was the most attractive point when many people brought their old cars for appraisal to exchange for new electric cars.

The process is quick and easy, customers can pick up the car on the spot or have it delivered to their home for free within a 5km radius.

Some young customers said they switched to electric vehicles not only to save on fuel costs but also to protect the environment, especially when air pollution in big cities is increasingly alarming.

In addition to the car exchange promotion, the "Buy 1 Get 6 Free" program with gifts worth up to 2 million VND including insurance, helmets, handbags, etc. also makes many customers feel excited. In addition, the installment payment policy with interest rates from only 0.46% makes it easier for buyers to own an electric car, especially students who need to travel every day.

At the event, VinFast Saigon South also introduced the program "Green transformation - Win VF7" with a total prize value of up to billions of VND, including Feliz Lite electric motorbikes, VF3 - VF5 - VF7 cars.

The excitement of the lucky draw area kept the whole booth bustling. Many customers commented that electric vehicles are increasingly suitable for urban transportation needs thanks to their ability to accelerate quickly, without noise, low operating costs and especially without causing air or noise pollution - two common problems in big cities.

Some traffic experts present at the event said that the trend of using green vehicles is inevitable, especially when charging station infrastructure is increasingly expanding and many support policies are implemented.
