VF 7 is fast, flexible and emotional to drive
Despite the prolonged rain, the VinFast Electric Car Test Drive Experience event last weekend at My Dinh National Stadium still had many young customers patiently lining up to wait their turn. The wet weather did not dampen the excitement, but on the contrary, made the experience atmosphere more special as each turn and each steering turn became a real challenge for the grip and control of Vietnamese electric cars.
The VinFast electric car test drive event offers the opportunity to experience the VF 7, VF 8, VF 9 models through in-depth tests.
At the event, participants experienced slalom tests to test flexibility, roughness to evaluate the smoothness and stability of the chassis, acceleration and noise tests to demonstrate the quick response and quietness of the electric motor. Next were slippery roads, regenerative braking and ADAS - tests to verify the ability to control and support the car's safe driving in heavy rain. Although the VF 9 was the center of attention of the event, the VF 7 and VF 8 models also received a lot of attention from young users.
Stepping out of the VF 7 cockpit, Mr. Nguyen Duc Phong ( Hung Yen ) was extremely satisfied. He briefly described the C-size electric SUV with three words: "compact, powerful and sturdy". As someone who has driven a number of gasoline cars in the same segment, Mr. Phong admitted that the VF 7 brings a completely different feeling.

“ It was raining so the road was very slippery, but the VF 7 had excellent grip. When I steered in the slalom, the car was stable, did not slip or slide. When I stepped on the gas, the car jumped forward, but was still easy to control. It felt very real and stuck to the road. I tried both rows of seats and felt that my body was kept stable through sharp turns - something that many cars in the same segment cannot do ,” said Mr. Phong.
In the slalom test, where the driver has to constantly navigate between the cones, the VF 7 shows its superiority with a rigid body and quick response. The electronic stability control system helps the car stabilize when cornering, while the instant torque from the electric motor provides strong and smooth acceleration. On the slippery road, the traction control system works effectively, helping the car maintain good balance on the wet road. This, he says, gives him more confidence behind the wheel.
When moving on to the acceleration and noise test, Mr. Phong was impressed with the almost absolute silence inside the cockpit. “Step on the gas, the car jumps forward without the loud roar of a gasoline car. No engine noise, no wind noise, just a smooth feeling like gliding on water,” he said.
From his experience, Mr. Phong believes that VF 7 is a model created for the dynamic young generation, compact when moving in the city, and strong and stable on long distances.
VF 8 is powerful, balanced and safe for the family
Meanwhile, Mr. Hoang Quoc Truong ( Hanoi ) chose VF 8 as "the car that makes him most secure".

“ I am a family-oriented person so I like the VF 8. The car is still strong, the electric motor is more than 400 horsepower, when you step on the gas it sticks to your back, but the steering wheel is gentle, turns flexibly but is still smooth and balanced enough for the person sitting behind to feel comfortable ”, said Mr. Truong.
Mr. Truong also highly appreciated the stability of the car when moving on wet roads. The full-time 4-wheel drive system and electronic balance system help the car maintain good balance, limiting wheel slippage in corners. In the regenerative braking test, the VF 8 held back gently and smoothly, providing a feeling of safety and maximum control.
In addition to its performance, Mr. Truong was particularly impressed with the practicality of the VF 8. The spacious cabin, large, sharp screen with a user-friendly interface, fast-cooling air conditioning, and clear vision help the driver observe more easily. For young people with families, this is a choice that balances power and comfort in every journey.
Despite heavy rain, VinFast electric cars still operate stably and safely.
The heavy rain in Hanoi over the weekend became a real test for VinFast electric vehicles. In harsher weather conditions than expected, VF 7 and VF 8 still operated stably, responded quickly and safely - experiences that prove the quality of Vietnamese electric vehicles.
