Hanoi Tourism 2025 Ao Dai Parade is a colorful cultural event by Hoan Kiem Lake

On the afternoon of November 15, at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square and Hoan Kiem Lake walking space, the Hanoi Tourism Ao Dai Festival Parade 2025 opened a series of activities to honor traditional cultural values ​​and promote the image of Hanoi as a safe, friendly and creative destination.

This is a highlight event within the framework of the Hanoi Tourism Ao Dai Festival 2025.

According to the Organizing Committee, this year's program will deploy the parade route from Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square through Hang Khay - Dinh Tien Hoang - Trang Tien streets. At the intersection of Trang Tien - Dinh Tien Hoang - Hang Khay, the groups will split into two directions: One group will move along Trang Tien - Phan Chu Trinh - Ly Thuong Kiet - University; the remaining groups will return to Dinh Tien Hoang, forming a continuous parade route around the lake and the central area of ​​Hoan Kiem district.

This year's parade is expected to attract more than 1,400 participants, creating a multi-colored cultural space in the heart of the old town. The highlight is the reenactment of the Trach Xa Tailoring Ancestor Procession, performed by artisans from Trach Xa craft village, the homeland of traditional ao dai tailoring. In addition, the Vietnamese costume festival "Bach Hoa Bo Hanh" with nearly 800 people in ancient costumes of many dynasties will bring a vivid picture of the development of Vietnamese costumes.

The traditional Ao Dai parade teams, modernized Ao Dai by designers, women of Hoan Kiem ward, Vietnam Ao Dai Heritage Club and a large number of people and tourists continue to contribute to spreading the beauty of Ao Dai.

Along with the parade, the “Touching Autumn in Hanoi” Bus experience tour, taking place from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., will take visitors in ao dai to explore famous tourist attractions such as the Opera House, Thang Long Imperial Citadel, Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, West Lake, Quan Thanh Temple, Tran Quoc Pagoda, etc. Through this journey, the image of ao dai is promoted as a unique tourism product, contributing to raising the level of the capital's tourism brand.
