(DN) - On the morning of November 15, Dong Nai Hydrometeorological Station said: From November 15 to 20, the weather in Dong Nai will be cloudy to cloudy, the early morning will be cold and foggy, the day will be sunny with intermittent periods, in the evening and at night there will be scattered rain in many places, with moderate to heavy rain, some places will have very heavy rain and thunderstorms. During thunderstorms, beware of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

The reason is that the Dong Nai area is affected by the Northeast monsoon with moderate to strong intensity. The cold continental high pressure continues to strengthen, the East wind disturbance at high altitude is active from November 16 to 18, moving inland to control the Southern region.

Forecast rainfall from 10-120mm, average temperature 25-27 degrees Celsius, highest 32-34 degrees Celsius and lowest 21-23 degrees Celsius.

According to the Dong Nai Hydrometeorological Station, the water level of the Dong Nai River in the upstream, other rivers and streams and Tri An Lake is changing slowly. The La Nga River at Phu Hiep Station is regulated by the Da Mi - Ham Thuan Reservoir. At Phu Hiep Station, the water level is near alert level 2 (105.5m). It is necessary to guard against the possibility of heavy rain combined with floods causing inundation, landslides on river banks, streams, and low-lying areas in the communes of Phu Lam, Tan Phu, Phu Hoa, Dinh Quan and neighboring areas.

In Bien Hoa, the downstream of Dong Nai River is forecast to have the highest water level of 2.03m on November 19.
