- On July 26, Bao Lam Border Guard Station decided to initiate a criminal case on the crime of storing and organizing illegal use of drugs.

Previously, at 12:15 p.m. on July 24, 2025, at Na Pan village, Dong Dang commune, Lang Son province, the working group of Bao Lam Border Guard Station chaired and coordinated with the Drug and Crime Prevention and Control Task Force, the Professional Department, Lang Son Border Guard and Dong Dang Commune Police to carry out the task of inspecting and controlling the area and discovered 2 men driving a motorbike with license plate 12A-002.01 moving from Huu Nghi International Border Gate to Na Pan village, Dong Dang commune with suspicious signs and conducted an inspection.

At the time of inspection, the two young men could not present their identification papers and declared their names as Dong Quang Ha (born in 1998, residing in Con Keo village, Dong Dang commune) and Au Viet Tiep (born in 1985, residing in Na Pan village, Dong Dang commune).

During the inspection by the authorities, Ha threw a black plastic bag onto the street, inside was a paper bag containing white powder (suspected to be drugs). The authorities also found a paper bag containing white powder (suspected to be drugs) on Au Viet Tiep's person. Ha and Tiep both admitted that the white powder in the two paper bags was drugs (Heroin) that the two subjects bought for their own use.

Subjects illegally storing and using drugs were arrested by the authorities.

Ha and Tiep confessed that while they were buying drugs, Hoang Van Trung, born in 1992 (living in Con Keo village, Dong Dang commune) called and transferred money to their account to ask them to buy drugs. After that, the three of them made an appointment to go to the restroom of the gas station opposite Dong Dang Trade Center to use drugs together.

Through the request for appraisal, the amount of white powder in the two paper packages above is Heroin with a total weight of 0.452 grams. Bao Lam Border Guard Station has decided to initiate a criminal case, hand over the person, evidence, and records to the Investigation Agency of Lang Son Provincial Police for further investigation and handling according to the provisions of law.
