Major Nguyen Duy Khanh, Deputy Political Commissar of Vang Ma Chai Border Guard Station, said that in order to implement the program of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses, Vang Ma Chai Border Guard Station coordinated with the Party Committee and authorities of Si Lo Lau Commune (Lai Chau) to conduct a survey and select the beneficiaries: Tan Sai Man household (Seo Ho Thau village) and Phung Ta May household (Nhong 2 village). In particular, the Central Maternity Hospital supported 60 million VND/household; officers and soldiers of Vang Ma Chai Border Guard Station supported working days, transported materials and directly built new houses.

Since the start of construction of the two houses (July 30) until now, Vang Ma Chai Border Guard Station has sent 55 officers and soldiers to participate with nearly 170 working days to help the two families. Currently, the main items of the house have been completed, the officers and soldiers are urgently completing the auxiliary works, such as the kitchen, yard, porch, plastering... striving to complete and inaugurate, handing over the new houses to the two families on the occasion of National Day September 2.
