The artistic team of the Ca Mau Provincial Cultural Center is ready for the "Northward" trip, participating in the National Achievement Exhibition to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day with the theme "80 years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" in Hanoi in 2025.
The exhibition of national achievements in celebration of the 80th anniversary of National Day, with the theme "80 years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness", will take place from August 28 to September 5 at the National Exhibition Center , with Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh as Head of the Steering Committee. On the afternoon of August 22, the Deputy Prime Minister directly inspected the construction progress at the Exhibition Center and the exhibition booth of Ca Mau province with the theme "The land of Ca Mau - 80 years of National Day, proud of our homeland". Here, comrade Mai Van Chinh highly appreciated the elaborate, creative preparation, the harmony between tradition and modernity, thereby highlighting the characteristics of the land of the southernmost tip of the Fatherland.

On this occasion, the Ca Mau Provincial Cultural Center has created many unique art programs to serve the audience at the Exhibition Space, with the highlights being the Art of Don Ca Tai Tu and Uncle Ba Phi's Story.
Two talented actors Ngoc Nhin and Duc An diligently practiced the song Ao Moi Ca Mau (Music: Thanh Son; Lyrics: People's Artist Vien Chau) to present to the audience in the capital.
As for Don ca tai tu, the program is staged with the strong imprint of Ca Mau's rivers and waters, including many rich performances in the following modes: Nam, Bac, Oan, Ha, vọng cổ with 16 beats, vọng cổ with 32 beats... The content praises the love for the homeland and country; honors the simple, generous, and affectionate beauty of the land and people of Ca Mau - heroes in combat, diligent in labor and production; at the same time, expressing pride in the changes and transformations of the young land.
The story of Uncle Ba Phi - a unique folk art form associated with the name of artist Nguyen Long Phi - was selected by the crew from typical stories such as: The Turtle Ship, The Shrimp of Ca Mau, The King Crab, The Bee Fighting the Enemy, The Lotus Bird Trap... and adapted into 5 Cai Luong plays to be put on stage.
The special stories of Artist Nguyen Long Phi such as The Turtle Ship, The Shrimp of Ca Mau, The King Crab, The Bee Fighting the Enemy, and The Lotus Bird Trap were adapted into 5 Cai Luong plays, performed by artists Quoc Tin and Hoang Phuc in the program.
In addition, in each program, the Center's actors also perform many famous excerpts from Cai Luong, which have left a deep impression on the hearts of the audience.
After nearly 1 month of serious practice and preparation, the Ca Mau Provincial Cultural Center is now ready for a performance at the National Achievement Exhibition to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day, with the theme "80 years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" taking place in Hanoi in 2025.
Mr. Nguyen Quoc Tin, Deputy Director of the Ca Mau Provincial Cultural Center said: “Through the nightly performing arts programs at the Exhibition Space, we hope to contribute to honoring outstanding cultural and social achievements, while promoting the image of the land and people of Ca Mau - Bac Lieu to friends and tourists at home and abroad.
