Comrade Hoang Quoc Khanh was born on September 2, 1969, Thai ethnic group, hometown in Yen Chau commune, Son La province; qualifications: PhD in Economics, Senior in political theory. Before being assigned to work in Lang Son province, comrade Hoang Quoc Khanh held many positions in Son La province such as: Vice Chairman, Chairman of the People's Committee, Secretary of Phu Yen District Party Committee (old); Director of the Department of Planning and Investment of Son La province (old); Head of the Mass Mobilization Committee of Son La Provincial Party Committee (old); Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
In Decision No. 1419-QDNS/TW dated August 1, 2024, the Politburo approved Comrade Hoang Quoc Khanh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to hold the position of Secretary of the Son La Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
