On July 12, Comrade Tran Quoc Nam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspected the construction progress of the new Dong Nam canal and Tan Tai canal section in the Dong Nam urban area; the construction of the central regulating lake; Huynh Thuc Khang street of the Coastal Cities Sustainable Environment Project - Phan Rang - Thap Cham City Sub-project.

According to the investor's report on the progress of the project, the city must reclaim land and compensate 1,311 households and organizations. Up to now, 1,278 households and organizations have handed over the site (reaching 98%), 4 households have not received money but have agreed to hand over the site. Currently, 33 households have not agreed to hand over the site. For the construction package of the new Southeast canal and the Tan Tai canal section in the Southeast urban area, the construction units are implementing 8 construction projects, the construction volume has reached 91%, and is expected to be completed on time. The PR-1.9 construction package for the central regulating lake is currently stuck with 20 households who have not handed over the site. Currently, the construction unit of the central lake is implementing 2 projects for transporting waste and 2 projects for construction and installation, reaching a progress volume of 15.2%. Particularly, the PR-2.2 package on Huynh Thuc Khang street is still stuck with 8 households who have not handed over the site. Speaking at the inspection sites, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the investor, the consulting and construction supervision units and the households who unanimously supported the province's policy. At the same time, he requested the sectors and localities to continue to mobilize households to agree with the state's policies and guidelines on land recovery and compensation to promptly hand over the site to the investor and the construction units to complete the project on schedule; the sectors and localities continue to support the investor and the construction units to remove difficulties in the construction of project items; the construction units increase human resources, equipment and machinery to implement the construction, ensuring safety, quality and efficiency of the project.
