The People's Committee of Song Kon Commune (Dong Giang) has just held the inauguration ceremony of the community house of Bho Hoong village. Notably, Mr. Bling Nơl in Bho Hoong village donated 900m2 of land to build the village community house.

The community house of Bho Hoong village was built on an area of 900m2 , with a cost of nearly 2.5 billion VND. (In which: Central budget capital is 2 billion VND; provincial budget capital is 260 million VND, the rest is supported by the district budget). The project is designed with the typical features of the Guol house of the Co Tu ethnic group. After 6 months of construction, it has now been completed and put into use.
What is special is that this is not only a Community House built with support from the State Budget, but also a great contribution from Mr. Bling Nơl's family (residing in Bhohồông village). Mr. Nơl's family voluntarily donated 900m2 of land to build a community house.
“Seeing that the villagers do not have a community meeting place, my family realized that we need to be responsible for the village and our homeland, so we voluntarily donated the land,” Mr. Bling Nơl shared.
According to Mr. Nơl, the village has a community house where people will have a place to meet, discuss ways to do business, help each other develop the economy , reduce poverty, and preserve the cultural identity of the Co Tu people.
Mr. Do Huu Tung, Vice Chairman of Dong Giang District People's Committee, said that from 2022 to now, Dong Giang district has built and put into use 28 community activity houses, with a total investment of over 72 billion VND.
In 2024, the district will continue to invest in building and completing 3 more gong activity houses, so that people in the villages have a place to live and exchange culture, symbolizing the spirit of national solidarity.
