Dong Hoa: Consolidating and promoting the strength of national solidarity

The Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Hoa Town has just summarized the front work in 2023 and deployed the directions and tasks of the front work in 2024.

 

Over the past year, the Town Fatherland Front Committee continued to promote patriotic emulation movements and major campaigns chaired by the Front, especially the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" associated with sustainable poverty reduction.

 

The Fatherland Front Committees at all levels mobilized the Fund for the Poor to raise more than 752 million VND, reaching 107.4% of the target assigned by the province. From this fund, the Fatherland Front of the town and communes and wards donated 2,619 gifts to poor, near-poor and extremely disadvantaged households with more than 1.1 billion VND. Coordinated with relevant agencies and units to organize the acceptance and handover of 24 Great Solidarity houses to poor households and extremely disadvantaged households with a budget of more than 1.1 billion VND.

 

In 2024, the Town Fatherland Front Committee will focus on directing the congresses of Fatherland Front delegates at all levels for the 2024-2029 term. Promote mobilization, gather people from all walks of life, consolidate and promote the strength of national solidarity to build and defend the Fatherland. Mobilize support for the Fund for the Poor in conjunction with implementing social security programs to achieve the targets assigned by the province...

 

On this occasion, the Town Fatherland Front Committee awarded the Emulation Flag of the leading unit of the cluster in 2023 to the Fatherland Front Committee of Hoa Vinh ward; awarded certificates of merit to 4 collectives and 8 individuals with outstanding achievements in front work in 2023.
