Dong Nai auctions land use rights for Chua Chan mountain eco-tourism project

The total land area is over 100 hectares, of which the auctioned area is 92.5 hectares of commercial service land. The form of land lease by the State is to pay a one-time fee for the entire lease term in the form of auctioning land use rights with the land lease term according to the operation term of the investment project.

The Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee also issued a decision approving specific land prices as starting prices to organize auctions of land use rights for the Chua Chan Mountain Ecotourism , Resort and Entertainment Project, Xuan Loc Commune, Dong Nai Province.

Accordingly, the 92.5ha auctioned land plot above has been approved for land valuation, the starting price for organizing the auction of land use rights for the above land plot is more than 2,687 billion VND. The average unit price (rounded) is more than 2.8 million VND/m2.

Previously, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province also issued a decision approving the adjustment of the master plan for the preservation, restoration, rehabilitation and embellishment of the scenic relic of Chua Chan Mountain until 2030. Among them, the orientation of Chua Chan Mountain tourism products includes spiritual and cultural tourism services; mountain climbing tourism services; cave exploration tourism services; revolutionary history tourism services; picnic tourism services; eco-resort tourism services; culinary tourism services; entertainment services.

Dong Nai plans four new cable car routes to the top of Chua Chan mountain; four new mountain railway routes to serve the travel needs and connect the top areas of Chua Chan mountain.

To implement, Dong Nai province has identified 5 groups of components and priority investment projects. Specifically, the Chua Chan Mountain tourism, ecological and resort project group has a total investment of about 18,000 billion VND; the relic conservation group is about 150 billion VND; land acquisition and site clearance is about 30 billion VND; environmental landscape protection is about 50 billion VND; human resource training is 20 billion VND. Total investment is 18,250 billion VND.

According to the People's Committee of Dong Nai province, the adjustment of the master plan aims to preserve, renovate, restore and embellish the mountain scenic relics; call for investment, implement resort service projects, commercial services and technical infrastructure according to the approved plan. This contributes to creating conditions for the local community to enhance their role and participate in the management, protection and promotion of the value of relics associated with socio-economic development and sustainable tourism development of the locality.

Chua Chan Mountain was ranked as a national scenic relic in 2012, with an altitude of 837m above sea level. This is considered the "roof" of Dong Nai province and is the second highest mountain in the Southeast, after Ba Den mountain, Tay Ninh province.
