According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on October 8, the water level on the Cau River at Gia Bay station ( Thai Nguyen ) peaked at 29.9 m - 2.9 m higher than alert level 3 and 1.09 m higher than the historical flood level in 2024 caused by storm Yagi. Currently, the Cau River water level continues to rise, the unit maintains a 24/7 standing force to support the people, preventing human losses. As of the same afternoon, the functional forces evacuated nearly 20 households with 50 people, including many elderly people and children, to a safe place.
