Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son: Booths at the 2025 Autumn Fair need to focus on interacting with consumers

On the afternoon of October 8, at the Vietnam Exhibition Fair Center, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son inspected the preparations for the 2025 Autumn Fair.

The 2025 Autumn Fair is scheduled to take place from October 20 to November 5 at the Vietnam Exhibition Fair Center.

The 2025 Autumn Fair is the fair organized on the largest scale (with about 3,000 booths), at the largest and most modern center (area of ​​about 100,000 m2) and with the largest number of participants (all 34 provinces and cities, ministries, branches, relevant agencies, corporations, general companies and private enterprises, domestic and foreign enterprises are mobilized to participate). Organizing the 2025 Autumn Fair (Fair) on a large scale is very necessary. The fair will be a concentrated trade promotion channel, aiming to stimulate consumption, promote production and business, expand import and export, attract a large number of businesses and consumers to participate, making an important contribution to achieving the economic growth target of over 8% in 2025.

According to the report of Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - the organizer of the Fair has received budget estimates from a number of ministries, central agencies and 33 provinces and cities. The Ministry is synthesizing these estimates to send to the Ministry of Finance in a rolling manner, and at the same time continues to urge the remaining units to send budget estimates.

Regarding the participants, up to now, 33/34 localities and 13 state-owned corporations and groups have registered and received the premises. The construction of the booths will be carried out 7 days in advance.

Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ho An Phong reported on the exhibition space of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, as well as the preparations for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Fair. Representatives of Vingroup also reported on the overall design, identity and logo of the Fair.

After listening to reports from relevant agencies, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son highly appreciated the efforts of the Ministry of Industry and Trade ; Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Vingroup Corporation and relevant agencies in actively implementing work contents, meeting requirements and on schedule.

The Deputy Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Industry and Trade; the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Vingroup Corporation to continue to carefully review the Fair's identity and logo before officially announcing it.

The Deputy Prime Minister also requested relevant ministries and branches to support Thai Nguyen province in participating in the Fair as the province is focusing on overcoming the consequences of historic floods.

The Deputy Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Industry and Trade to coordinate with the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Association of High-Tech Enterprises, Innovation and Digital Transformation to invite typical enterprises in this field to participate in the Fair. Enterprises participating in the Fair must meet the criteria of typical enterprises, high-quality products, and commercialization potential.

Regarding the progress of booth design, the Deputy Prime Minister set a deadline for localities to complete all standard booth design work before October 13. For special booths, the design must be completed before October 17. All must report to the Standing Committee of the 2025 Autumn Fair. When designing, it is necessary to ensure the distance between booths, have resting space, and enough restrooms for visitors.

The Deputy Prime Minister requested Hanoi to report to the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee on the progress of the construction and design of the city's area, and at the same time assign focal points to coordinate traffic, food safety, security, and health to ensure absolute safety during the Fair.

The Deputy Prime Minister requested participating units to thoroughly understand: The Fair is not only a place to introduce products, but also to interact with consumers. These interactive activities will make the Fair more lively and attractive. The Deputy Prime Minister suggested that it is possible to introduce the process of producing civet coffee or the traditional way of making coffee so that foreigners can better understand Vietnam's specialties; or create experiences for visitors by recreating the image of the Dien Bien Phu Campaign or the atmosphere of the 1945 Declaration of Independence.

Regarding information and communication work about the Fair, the Deputy Prime Minister requested a press conference to introduce the Fair on October 12 or 13. Ministries, branches, localities and enterprises proactively provide information to the press about their booths.
