Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company, Vietnam Airport Ground Services Company Limited (Viags), Saigon Ground Services Joint Stock Company (Sags), Vietnam Air Catering Company Limited (Vacs)... are recruiting nearly 1,500 candidates for many job positions.

According to the reporter's records, from early morning, candidates lined up outside the gate to wait for their turn to find information and apply for jobs.
Truong Quoc Thang, a final year student of the Faculty of Business Administration, Lac Hong University, said: “The school creates conditions for students to access and learn about jobs when Long Thanh airport comes into operation, so I and other students attended. Through the recruitment session here, I realized that I basically meet the requirements, especially in English language.”
Le Thi My Hanh (23 years old, living in Long Khanh ward, Dong Nai province) just graduated from intermediate level of culinary major, when hearing about the job fair at Long Thanh airport, she came to submit her application and was interviewed by the employer. "I really hope to be hired soon", Hanh shared.

Mr. Nguyen Cao Cuong, Deputy General Director of ACV, said that organizing the aviation job fair today is an opportunity for students and workers to meet ground handling enterprises, grasp information on labor supply and demand, thereby helping to connect workers and enterprises; creating opportunities for potential candidates to directly exchange with leading employers in the aviation industry as well as helping enterprises find and recruit personnel suitable to their needs.
“In particular, ACV commits to not only stop at recruitment, but also accompany employees throughout the process of training, skill development, and career development,” said Mr. Nguyen Cao Cuong.
Many high quality cooperation programs
Speaking to reporters of Hanoi Moi Newspaper, Mr. Le Truong Son, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee, informed that Long Thanh airport is a national key project, expected to be operational in 2026.

Accordingly, Dong Nai will become one of the attractive destinations for domestic and foreign enterprises to invest. This project plays an important role in connecting with major traffic routes, thereby creating a leading development center in the Southeast region and will become an urban center, support services and high technology. Therefore, the reality requires that the upcoming labor force not only be sufficient in quantity but also must ensure high quality to meet the needs of the labor market with specific characteristics, standards of the aviation industry in terms of health, technical qualifications, expertise, foreign languages, etc.
Mr. Do Dang Bao Linh, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Dong Nai province, said that Dong Nai has approved the Project "Training and developing on-site human resources to serve Long Thanh airport in the period of 2024-2026, with a vision to 2030" with the goal of creating conditions for students, workers of the province, especially people whose land has been recovered, to best meet the requirements of human resources to serve when the airport comes into operation.
According to the project, Dong Nai aims to organize training and support job search at the airport (inside and outside the airport) for permanent workers in the province by 2030, with a number of about 4,800 people. In the 2024-2026 period, the policy will be implemented to integrate training for 1,600 people and in the 2027-2030 period, it will organize integrated training and place training orders for 3,200 people.
Currently, Dong Nai is implementing many cooperation programs with universities, colleges and businesses to prepare a high-quality workforce for the airport...
According to Mr. Do Dang Bao Linh, in the coming time, training units in the province will review and coordinate with Long Thanh airport to be proactive in training and supplying human resources to ensure quantity, quality and standards of the aviation industry. Strengthening links and cooperation, coordinating to build training and development programs suitable to labor recruitment needs...

Mr. Nguyen Khanh Cuong, Principal of Lilama 2 International Technology College, said that in order to deploy human resource training to meet the needs of Long Thanh airport coming into operation, from 2023, 2024 and up to now, the school has signed cooperation agreements with Vaeco, ACV, Sags to recruit and train students to serve in areas such as: Operation, maintenance, and maintenance of equipment in the airport cluster; repair, maintenance and maintenance of equipment serving in the airport; logistics of goods in the airport with nearly 500 students.
