Dong Nai urgently reviews and thoroughly handles illegal constructions

Mr. Nguyen Hoai Duy requested to handle illegal construction works on land plot No. 169, map sheet No. 10, Trang Dai ward (Bien Hoa city) built by Mr. Do Huu Hung, Ms. Hoang Ngoc Hue, Mr. Bui Xuan Danh and Tong Tran Company Limited on the land plot that had been granted a land use right certificate to Ms. Truong Thi Linh Dang.

After listening to citizens present the content and opinions of relevant departments and units attending the meeting and reviewing relevant records and documents, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc concluded that the illegal construction on plot 169 was discovered by the People's Committee of Trang Dai Ward and a record of administrative violations was made since 2021.

Trang Dai Ward People's Committee and Bien Hoa City People's Committee reviewed and submitted to competent authorities to handle administrative violations, but did not clearly define the authority and were confused in handling the case, leading to the case not being completely handled. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee criticized Bien Hoa City People's Committee and Trang Dai Ward People's Committee in construction management and in the delay in handling illegal construction works.

The provincial leaders assigned the Bien Hoa City People's Committee to study the opinions of the Department of Construction and the Department of Justice to continue handling the case within their authority, in accordance with current legal regulations and promptly review and completely handle illegal constructions. Suspend construction and strictly manage constructions on the above land plot that is currently under dispute in court. At the same time, the Provincial Citizen Reception Committee was assigned to contact Ms. Truong Thi Linh Dang so that the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee could directly meet her.
