Not only paying tribute to the beloved Father of the nation, but through works of art, Dong Nai Cultural - Cinema Center also contributes to promoting the image of the land and people of Dong Nai with rich identity.

Portraying Uncle Ho's image with Dong Nai identity

With the theme Dong Nai - Songs dedicated to Him, the mass art troupe of Dong Nai Cultural - Cinema Center brought 6 elaborately staged performances including: the choir The road of the century that He walked; solo song The source of light leads the way; the dance suite The bright pen of Him; the female trio The footprints of Him wading through the stream in the rainy afternoon; solo performance of the erhu Suoi Nguon Tri An and the song and dance Dong Nai - songs dedicated to Him. The performances both praise the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh and reflect the cultural depth, love and respect of Dong Nai people for Uncle Ho.

Mr. Cao Thep, director of the art program, said: “Dong Nai people love Uncle Ho through concrete actions and deeds, through artistic creativity imbued with humanity. We want audiences across the country to feel that in the midst of today’s modern life, the love for Uncle Ho is still deep and lasting in this land.”

The performances are both narrative and sincere, calm and passionate. In particular, the solo performance of Tri An Stream was performed by young artist Dai Duong using the erhu to tell the story of the culture, land and people of Dong Nai. In the smooth Southern sound, the audience feels a land that has been changing and developing day by day. The image of the artist holding the erhu by the Tri An River is not only music , but also the sentiment of a land with the beloved Father of the nation. This symbolizes the ideals and beliefs that Uncle Ho passed on to today's generation.

Performing the song Dong Nai, a song dedicated to Him, artist Nguyen Huy Quyen said: “I was born in peacetime, I did not meet Uncle Ho, but through stories, images, and lessons, Uncle Ho is always very close. When I step on stage, I feel connected to history, on behalf of my homeland, sending Uncle Ho words of gratitude with emotional lyrics and singing.”

To celebrate the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh, the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Library (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) in collaboration with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An province organized the National Folk Art Performance of Sen Village Singing from May 9 to 19. The performance is one of the activities within the framework of the Sen Village Festival in 2025.

Spreading the image of Dong Nai land and people

Director of Dong Nai Cultural - Cinema Center Ton Thi Thanh Tinh said that the construction of the Dong Nai Art Program - Songs for Him shows the sincere remembrance and deep gratitude of Dong Nai in particular, and Vietnam in general, to President Ho Chi Minh - the genius leader, national liberation hero, world cultural celebrity. Through art, it aims to widely propagate to cadres, party members and people of all walks of life to better understand the great contributions and contributions of Uncle Ho; deeply engrave and effectively implement the study and follow of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style.

According to Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Thi Ngoc Loan, the stories told in the art program also spread the message about Dong Nai land, which is changing strongly but still maintains its roots. Through the language of art, audiences across the country can "travel" to the South - where the music and songs are imbued with love for Uncle Ho and the homeland. The image of Dong Nai appears not only as a place name, but also as a symbol, contributing to promoting the cultural beauty, connecting and developing tourism in the province to domestic and international friends.
