Dong Nai mobilizes troops to support Dak Lak in overcoming flood consequences

On the morning of November 25, Dong Nai province held a ceremony to send a working group of nearly 300 people to help people in Dak Lak province overcome the consequences caused by floods.

Attending the event were comrades: Vu Hong Van, Secretary of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Van Ut, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Huynh Thi Hang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, along with leaders of departments, branches and a large number of cadres, civil servants and youth union members.

Before departure, delegates observed a moment of silence to commemorate the victims of the floods.

According to Director of Dong Nai Province Department of Health Do Thi Nguyen, the working group was divided into 5 groups: 3 groups for medical examination, consultation, and medicine distribution; 1 group for preventive medicine, environmental sanitation, and disinfection spraying; and 1 group including the Youth Union, Red Cross Society, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province undertaking humanitarian support work.

The delegation brought 10,000 medicine bags, 2,000 doses of medicine for medical examination, 2,000 gifts and 600 million VND to take care of health, prevent epidemics and share difficulties with people in flood-affected areas.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Ut expressed his deep sympathy for the losses that the Party Committee, government and people of Dak Lak province are suffering, and affirmed: Promoting the tradition of "mutual love", "helping each other" with a sense of responsibility and affection, Dong Nai province decided to send a working delegation with medicines, medical equipment and essential necessities to promptly support the locality to overcome the current difficulties.

According to the plan, the working group will carry out activities in the communes of Hoa My, Tay Hoa, Hoa Thinh, Son Thanh, An Thach, An Ninh Tay, An Ninh Dong and Duc Binh - localities heavily affected by floods.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the members of the delegation to coordinate closely, organize scientific coordination, ensure safety and develop effective and practical medical examination and treatment plans, avoiding formalities.
