Massive cash flow pushes VN-Index above 1,270 points
Stocks opened the session quite positively. If in the morning, seafood, plastics - chemicals, fertilizer stocks... led the increase such as VHC, ASM, IDI, FMC, DGC, DPM, DCM, GVR... then later, green spread widely across industry groups.
In the early afternoon, the group of securities stocks exploded with purple spreading widely. A series of stocks increased to the limit such as VDS, VCI, ORS, VIX, IVS... The increase spread more widely towards the end of the session. Technology and information or retail groups also contributed positively to the growth of the index such as FPT , CMG, DGW, FRT, MSN, MWG...
If in the morning, the cash flow focused on mid-cap and penny stocks, then immediately after, blue-chips also followed the trend. In the basket of 30 stocks in VN30 on HOSE, only VJC fell below the reference. The group of blue-chips all rose, pushing the VN30 index up more than 30 points, surpassing the VN-Index of the entire HOSE.
Cash flow rushed in to buy with a total value of nearly 29,400 billion VND, equivalent to nearly 1.2 billion USD. Liquidity in this session also increased by more than 37% compared to the previous session. This was identified as an explosive session of the VN-Index when both volume and value increased. This explosive session even contradicted the previous assessment of many securities companies when they said that the market would have a tug of war when the VN-Index was around 1,250 points. Currently, with an increase of over 1,270 points, many investors are optimistic to expect that the VN-Index will aim to reach the 1,300 point threshold in March.
