Investment project for construction and business of infrastructure of My Thuan Industrial Park

The Provincial People's Committee held a conference to evaluate the progress of the My Thuan Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment and Business Project and proposed investment in the Nam Hong Industrial Park Project - Nam Truc District. Comrade Pham Dinh Nghi, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the conference. Attending the conference were Comrade Tran Anh Dung, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

At the conference, delegates heard a report on the progress of the investment project to build and operate the infrastructure of My Thuan Industrial Park up to now. Accordingly, the infrastructure of My Thuan Industrial Park has been basically completed, items such as: wastewater treatment plant, roads in the area, drainage system are all in the final stage of completion. The green tree system is being urgently constructed by investors, the accumulated investment capital of My Thuan Industrial Park infrastructure to date has reached about 1,650 billion VND. There have been 5 secondary investors in the Industrial Park granted investment registration certificates with a total capital of about 182 million USD, the land occupancy rate of the Industrial Park is about 31%. Currently, many large corporations in the world are negotiating with infrastructure investors about investment in My Thuan Industrial Park.

For the Nam Hong Industrial Park project, the investor is currently surveying an area of about 200 hectares in the three communes of Nam Hong, Nam Thanh, Nam Loi - Nam Truc district. The majority of people in this area support the major policy of the province and district to develop the local socio-economic development.

Concluding the conference, comrade Pham Dinh Nghi - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated Dai Phong Infrastructure Construction Joint Stock Company as the investor of My Thuan Industrial Park infrastructure, which has recently accelerated the progress of infrastructure construction in the industrial park, and actively worked with all levels and sectors of the province to promote investment, attracting large corporations and enterprises in the world to invest in the industrial park. At the same time, he requested the investor of My Thuan Industrial Park infrastructure to overcome difficulties; build and complete the infrastructure and landscape of the industrial park, in the direction of a green and modern industrial park. Infrastructure items in the industrial park must be completed before May 1, 2024. In particular, the wastewater treatment plant must be supervised and inspected to meet standards by the Department of Natural Resources and Environment. The Provincial Industrial Park Management Board and Nam Dinh Electricity Company coordinate to soon start construction of the 110 KW power station to ensure power supply for secondary investors.

Regarding the Nam Hong Industrial Park Project, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board shall coordinate with relevant departments and branches to establish a schedule to implement the Project with the Investor. In particular, the deadline for submitting the Project dossier is before September 20, 2024. The decision on the investment policy for the Project must be made before January 1, 2025, and the Project must be started before July 2025. In particular, the power source and the location of the workers' housing must be reasonably calculated.
