Happy New Year 2025

Dear comrades, officers, soldiers and all people,

On the occasion of the New Year and welcoming the Spring of At Ty - 2025, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nam Dinh province, I would like to send my warmest greetings and best wishes for the New Year to the revolutionary elders, pre-uprising cadres, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, families of martyrs, war invalids and sick soldiers, leaders and former leaders of the province, Heroes of the Armed Forces, Heroes of Labor, cadres and soldiers, and all the people living, studying and working in the province, the children of Nam Dinh in all parts of the country and overseas Vietnamese of our province, my warmest greetings and best wishes for the New Year.

In 2024, although there are still many difficulties and challenges, especially the impact of super typhoon YAGI (typhoon No. 3) and floods after the storm. However, with the solidarity, unity, efforts and outstanding efforts of the entire Party Committee, government, army and people of the province, the spirit of mutual love, national love and compatriotism is strongly spread in difficulties and challenges; we are happy to affirm that 2024 continues to be a very successful year, leaving a strong and impressive mark in the socio -economic development of the province with many outstanding results. The economic growth rate of 10.01% is the second consecutive year that we have had a double-digit growth rate; Nam Dinh is the first province to complete the work of arranging administrative units at the district and commune levels in the period of 2023-2025 with a large number and is a bright spot of the whole country in building advanced and exemplary new rural areas; The socio-economic infrastructure system continues to receive investment attention, the province's key projects are being actively implemented to soon complete and put into operation, creating momentum for socio-economic development. State budget revenue in the area reached nearly 15,000 billion VND, far exceeding the target set by the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress. The investment environment is improving day by day, Nam Dinh is becoming an attractive destination for large domestic and foreign investors. The cultural and social fields are given attention for comprehensive development; the education sector continues to maintain high achievements with 30 consecutive years in the top of the country in terms of education quality. Social security is ensured; political security, social order and safety are maintained. These are very important results, contributing to welcoming the New Year with more excitement and joy.

The year of At Ty - 2025 has a particularly important meaning, the year of celebrating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the year of holding Party Congresses at all levels and the year of accelerating and breaking through to successfully complete the goals of the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress and the 5-year socio-economic development plan 2021-2025. The international and domestic situation has many opportunities and advantages but also has difficulties and challenges intertwined with each other, requiring the Party Committee, government, army and people of the province to continue to make efforts and resolutely implement solutions to promote socio-economic development, focusing on: Focusing on investing in developing infrastructure, especially transport infrastructure, industrial parks and clusters; promoting administrative reform, building e-government, promoting and attracting investment; focusing on comprehensive development of the cultural and social fields; maintain national defense, security, ensure social order and safety.

With the will and aspiration to rise up, with the belief and spirit of the new Spring, I call on all levels, sectors, cadres and soldiers of the armed forces, the business community and the people of the whole province to continue to join hands and unite, promote the heroic and cultural traditions, the strength of great national unity; arouse the aspiration to develop a prosperous and prosperous homeland, strive, and be determined to excellently complete the goals and tasks of 2025, successfully implement the goals of the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress, creating a solid foundation for Nam Dinh to firmly enter a new era, an era of national growth.
