Pepper price on August 8, 2025 on the world market

Although Vietnam is the leading pepper exporting country, imports are still strong. Specifically, in the first 7 months of 2025, Vietnam imported 31,472 tons of pepper, up 58.5% in volume and 143.4% in value compared to the same period in 2024. General future trends

Domestic and international pepper prices are showing positive signs as some markets have begun to make slight adjustments. This indicates that the market will no longer continue to move sideways and may experience new fluctuations in the near future.

Importing pepper from cheaper markets such as Brazil or Cambodia helps Vietnamese businesses optimize production costs, diversify product types and meet the strict requirements of the international market. In addition, imports also help to compensate for temporary supply shortages due to objective factors and take advantage of Vietnam as a processing and re-export center.
