Tourism grows impressively, aiming for product diversity

In the period of 2021-2025, Ba Ria-Vung Tau tourism recorded strong growth with the total number of visitors reaching about 64 million, an average increase of 11.34%/year. Revenue from tourism reached about 71 trillion VND, an average increase of 11.01%/year, contributing about 4.5% to the province's GRDP (excluding oil and gas). The average length of stay of visitors is 1.82 days.

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, a diverse tourism ecosystem has been formed along the Vung Tau-Long Hai-Ho Tram-Con Dao coastal route. Prominent types include beach resorts, MICE tourism, ecology, culture-history, agriculture , entertainment and health care.

Typical products include: Minera Hot Springs Binh Chau (hot mineral spa); Tropicana Park, Ho May Park (entertainment); Con Dao National Park (forest trekking, scuba diving, watching turtles lay eggs); agricultural tourism in Chau Duc, Long Dat; cultural and historical exploration in Con Dao, Long Dat. In particular, Ho Tram is becoming a leading provider of international-class resort and entertainment services.

The diversity of products helps the Ba Ria-Vung Tau tourism market to expand. The main source of visitors comes from the Southeast, Southwest and Northern regions. International visitors are diverse, with the highest proportion of visitors from Korea, India, followed by China, Europe, Australia, Russia, the US and Canada.
