Specifically, recently, Hanoi National University has recorded a number of cases where students received notices of admission to international student exchange programs from organizations and accounts impersonating Hanoi National University and its member and affiliated units.
These subjects took advantage of the reputation of Hanoi National University, sending emails, text messages or contacting via social networks, asking students to provide personal information, transfer admission fees, application fees, and program participation fees.
Hanoi National University affirms: All officially implemented academic and international student exchange programs are announced on official information channels including the website: https://vnu.edu.vn; Official Facebook Fanpage of Hanoi National University-VNU; Information portals of member units, departments, and affiliated functional departments. Hanoi National University does not collect any admission fees or deposits through personal accounts or intermediary organizations.
Students absolutely do not provide personal information, do not transfer money and do not sign any documents without verifying the source of information from official channels.
If you detect any impersonation or suspected fraud, please immediately report it to the Student Affairs Department of your current unit or contact the Department of Cooperation and Development, Vietnam National University, Hanoi directly via email: cooperation@vnu.edu.vn to verify the information.
