However, bringing tanks into My Dinh Stadium is also very difficult. Mr. Tu said that the organizing committee is researching and finding technical solutions to let tanks run on the pitch of My Dinh Stadium.

"The pitch is made of porous asphalt concrete, so normally if a tank were to drive on it, it would crush the tracks. Therefore, we are considering a rubber coating to disperse the force of the vehicle," said Colonel Pham Van Tu.

According to Colonel Pham Van Tu, in the program, the tank drivers will be professional soldiers and the performance crew will be actors, they will sing the song Five Brothers on a Tank .

The group "Brother overcoming thousands of obstacles" performed at the show.

The political and artistic program "North-South Promise" is chaired by the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, and Hanoi City, directing the Army Radio and Television Center to implement. The program will take place at 8:10 p.m. on April 22, at My Dinh Stadium.

Colonel Pham Van Tu said that the program is one of a series of events celebrating the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification, with the participation of Party and State leaders, representatives of ministries, departments, branches, veterans, and historical witnesses.

According to Mr. Tu, "North-South Promise" is the political program with the largest stage ever with a scale of up to 2,700 m2 . The stage is divided into 2 alternating blocks representing the North and South regions, with Hien Luong Bridge in the middle spanning the Ben Hai River.

"The highlight of the stage is the 3D mapping projection technology (a performance technique that combines light and animation to create a 3D effect) projected onto the water screen. This is something that has never appeared in any previous program," Mr. Tu emphasized.

The program has the participation of 800 artists, including People's Artist Tu Long, Meritorious Artist Hoang Tung, Meritorious Artist Vu Thang Loi, Pham Phuong Thao, singer Hoa Minzy, the group "Anh trai vuon ngan cong gai"...
