Dam Rong honey pineapple: Affirming the brand from its distinct flavor

DNVN - From the red soil of the Central Highlands, Dam Rong honey pineapple is growing strongly with its unique flavor and methodical development strategy, becoming a new key product of Dam Rong district (Lam Dong).

Dam Rong honey pineapple has big fruit and a sweeter taste than many other growing regions.

With unique ecological conditions - mixed climate and fertile red basalt soil - Dam Rong honey pineapple has large, deep yellow fruit, little fiber, sweet taste, natural aroma. The product is mainly intercropped in cashew gardens in Ro Men, Da R'Sal and Lieng Srong communes, both improving economic efficiency and environmental sustainability. Currently, the whole district has about 40 hectares of pineapple, stable output, price from 8,000-10,000 VND/kg.

Being granted a protection certificate by the Department of Intellectual Property ( Ministry of Science and Technology ) is a strategic step, creating a foundation for the product to go further. This is not only a guarantee for the brand but also a launching pad for Dam Rong honey pineapple to conquer demanding markets such as Japan, Korea and the Middle East.
