Bringing the movement of building cultural families into depth

With the viewpoint of taking the family as the nucleus of society, Vinh Phuc always focuses on promoting the movement of building cultural families (GĐVH) associated with building cultural life at the grassroots level. With many synchronous solutions, the movement of building cultural families is increasingly going into depth, bringing practical results, contributing to building prosperous, progressive, happy families, creating an important foundation for the sustainable development of the province.

Recognized as a cultural family for many years, the family of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Du, Dong village, Thanh Tru commune (Vinh Yen) has always been loved by the villagers for their friendliness, willingness to support and help everyone; well implementing the Party's policies and the State's laws, taking the lead in local patriotic emulation movements.

At the age of 74, Mrs. Du is still a pillar, a solid support, and an exemplary role model for her children and grandchildren to follow. Not only does she support her children in their daily tasks, Mrs. Du also actively participates in local work and social activities. Currently, Mrs. Du holds the role of Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairwoman of the Elderly Association of Thanh Tru Commune; and is also the Head of the Buddhist Committee and Deputy Head of the Monument Management Board of the Commune.

Three generations of the family live together under one roof, despite the age gap and differences in life views… but with care and understanding, Mrs. Du’s family is always filled with laughter and warm feelings. Mrs. Du shared: “To build a happy and peaceful family, each family member must always understand and share with each other.

Knowing that my children are busy with work, I always try to support them in taking care of them and their daily chores so that they can work with peace of mind. In order for my children to learn and follow me, I always remind myself to be exemplary in my words and actions. Besides, I always advise my children to maintain family traditions and strictly follow the Party's policies and the State's laws and policies.

Ms. Phung Thi Thuy, Mrs. Du's daughter-in-law, shared: "My husband and I live with my mother, so my children are wholeheartedly cared for and educated by my grandmother. Thanks to my mother's support, my husband and I can work with peace of mind; the children who live with their grandmother are not only better cared for, but are also taught and understand a lot more about the traditional cultural values of the locality and the nation."

The family not only plays the fundamental role, the “cell” of society but also plays an important role in nurturing,educating lifestyle and shaping human personality; is the place to receive, preserve and transmit traditional cultural values of the nation. A prosperous family, harmonious and happy parents are important conditions and environments, directly creating the next generations with both physical and mental quality, contributing effectively to the strategy of developing high-quality human resources, meeting the current requirements of national development.

Over the past years, the province has identified the work of building a cultural family as a key task and has always paid close attention and directed it closely. The Steering Committee for the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" and the Steering Committee for family work at all levels have been regularly strengthened; doing a good job of advising and proposing to authorities at all levels to effectively implement the movement, suitable to the specific conditions in each locality.

The work of inspecting and supervising the implementation of the movement has been focused on; propaganda work has been promoted in many diverse forms to disseminate the meaning, importance, content and standards of building a cultural family to all classes of people. The annual review and honoring of outstanding cultural families has created a vibrant competitive atmosphere, contributing to encouraging and spreading advanced models.

With many solutions, the movement to build a cultured family in the province has increasingly gone into depth, has a strong influence on all classes of people, and has become a tradition and a goal of every family. The movement has mobilized the participation of the entire political system with many typical models and good practices effectively implemented by associations and organizations at all levels such as: Women's Union with the movement to build "A prosperous, equal, progressive, happy family", "5 no, 3 clean" family; Farmers' Association with the movement "Happy farmer family"; Veterans' Association with the movement "Exemplary member family"...

The annual evaluation of cultural families is well implemented, ensuring publicity, democracy and quality; the number of cultural families in the province is always maintained at a high level and increases over the years. In 2024, the rate of cultural families in the province will reach nearly 95%. Typical cultural families are shining examples, affirming in practice that families are prosperous, equal, progressive and happy; families that overcome difficulties to move forward, families with many generations living together as exemplary models...

Achievements from building a cultural family are an important foundation for the socio-economic development of the province, contributing to building the culture and people of Vinh Phuc to meet the requirements of sustainable development.

In order for the movement to build a cultural family to develop and go deeper, the province continues to widely implement the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" in general and build a cultural family in particular; promote propaganda work, raise awareness of the whole society about the role and significance of building a cultural family.

At the same time, strengthen coordination between sectors, organizations, and authorities in implementing the movement to build cultural families in a synchronous and practical manner; have policies and mechanisms to promptly encourage and promote typical examples; implement the work of evaluating cultural family titles strictly, publicly, democratically, based on the correct procedures and criteria that have been set out, creating motivation for each family to strive; strengthen the leadership and direction of Party committees and authorities at all levels, mobilize the participation and coordination of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and local socio-political organizations in implementing the movement...
