On the morning of June 25, Quang Ngai Province Maternity and Pediatrics Hospital coordinated with Ho Chi Minh City Development Joint Stock Commercial Bank (HD Bank) Quang Ngai branch to put into operation the Smart Medical Kiosk system (read as kiosk) to implement the Government's Project 06 at the Hospital.

The Smart Medical Kiosk System is a digital transformation solution in the healthcare sector, integrating identification technology using chip-based citizen identification cards or VNeID in the medical examination and treatment process. The device allows people to self-register for medical examination and treatment and pay hospital fees quickly and conveniently, without having to go through the reception desk. All patient identification information and biometric data are stored throughout the medical examination and treatment process, helping doctors easily access records and track treatment history. This investment contributes to the realization of Directive No. 12 of the Ministry of Health on promoting cashless payment of medical expenses, towards the goal of 100% cashless transactions at hospitals. Standardize the process of identifying and authenticating patient information in the spirit of the Government's Project 06.
