Germany delivers 100 Patriot missiles to Ukraine

According to Major General Christian Freuding, Director of the Ukraine Monitoring Center of the German Ministry of Defense , almost all 100 Patriot missiles committed to be sold to Ukraine have been delivered, in compliance with the commitment made on June 11 by German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius.

German television channel ZDFheute quoted Mr. Freuding as revealing that the final batch of missiles is being delivered.

PAC-2 GEM-T (Guided Missile Enhanced Tactical) is an enhanced version of the Patriot missile system, designed to enhance the capabilities of its predecessors. Derived from the PAC-2 missile framework, the GEM-T variant incorporates significant improvements in guidance and targeting systems. These improvements focus on increasing the missile's accuracy against a variety of threats, including aircraft tactical ballistic missiles and cruise missiles.

In addition to the improved guidance system, the PAC-2 GEM-T also features an upgraded processor and improved algorithms in the guidance section. These technological advances allow the missile to better discriminate between targets, improving its effectiveness when used.
