The hiking trail to conquer Langbiang peak ( Lam Dong province), which is 2,167m high, has been temporarily suspended due to landslides and slippery conditions, posing a safety risk to tourists.
The Center for Ecotourism and Environmental Education , Bidoup - Nuí Bà National Park, has announced the temporary suspension of visits to the Langbiang tourist route within the park's forest area.

According to the center, the Bidoup - Nuí Bà National Park area currently has complex weather and terrain conditions. The trail to the summit of Langbiang is slippery and prone to landslides, posing a safety risk to tourists visiting and picnicking. The unit will review and add safety measures to the trail to conquer the 2,167-meter-high Langbiang mountain before welcoming visitors back.
The Langbiang Plateau (or Lam Vien Plateau), home to the two highest peaks, Mount Ba (2,167 m) and Bidoup (2,287 m), combines to form the name of the Bidoup - Nui Ba National Park. Established in 2004, the park is located in Lac Duong District and part of Dam Rong District, Lam Dong Province, more than 30 km from Da Lat City. With hundreds of animal species and thousands of plant species, it is an ideal place to attract tourists to explore nature.

Due to the treacherous terrain, tourists often get lost here, endangering their lives. Most recently, in late July and August, two groups of tourists from Ho Chi Minh City got lost in the forest while climbing Langbiang peak during heavy rain and on slippery paths, and were rescued by authorities.
