Making an online passport for children under 14 years old is not much different from making an online passport for adults. However, in the document preparation part, we need to have a legal representative identification card such as the CCCD of the parents or guardian. Please refer to the steps below to make a passport for children under 14 years old!
Step 1: To apply for an online passport for children under 14 years old, you need to access the Ministry of Public Security's public service portal. Then, click Login.
If you do not have an account, please register for a public service account.
Next, click to log in with the Account issued by the National Public Service Portal or the Account issued by the Ministry of Public Security's Public Service Portal, depending on which account you use for convenient logging in.
Step 2: After successfully logging in, on the homepage of the Ministry of Public Security Public Service Portal, select the Submit application online section.
Enter the keyword "Passport" in the search box and click the red Search button below to quickly find the service.
Step 3: After searching for the service, the screen will display the Procedures section. At this point, you click on the Domestic Passport Issuance service (performed at the provincial level).
After selecting the correct provincial passport service, click on the Submit application box.
Step 4: Next, select the province where you want to submit your application in the Application Processing Agency section.
In the Resolution Case section, click on the item Issuing ordinary passports for children under 14 years old. Click Agree and continue to complete the public service selection section.
Step 5: Then, proceed to submit the application online. Click on Upload photo to start uploading your child's photo (note that the photo must be 4x6 white background, .jpg and smaller than 2mb).
Next, you need to determine your relationship with the child in the legal representative information section, please select your exact relationship with the child.
Step 6: In the Information for persons under 14 years of age requesting a passport, fill in all the information for the child in this section.
Step 7: In the Application Receiving Place section, click on Receive in person or Receive by post depending on your needs and the form of passport receipt for your convenience.
Below is the Profile Components section. In this section, please provide the required documents by clicking on the Select File box and uploading.
Step 8: Finally, after completing the above steps, click Agree and continue. Follow the profile and wait for the notice of online public service fee payment in your email and receive the result.
