Duong No village festival with the theme “Duong No - May journey” organized by the Department of Culture and Sports of Hue City officially opened on the evening of May 17 at Duong No village communal house (Duong No ward, Thuan Hoa district).

The event is an activity to celebrate the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh - National Liberation Hero, outstanding cultural figure. Attending were Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the Thuan Hoa District Party Committee Phan Thien Dinh, representatives of departments, branches, and many people and tourists.

Duong No is the place that witnessed the years when President Ho Chi Minh grew up and started going to school, where he lived in the neighborhood love, the love and care of the people, and immersed himself in the traditional cultural life of the community. It can be said that the years living here, the spirit of the land and the love of people contributed to molding the patriotic young man Nguyen Tat Thanh with outstanding intelligence, passionate heart, noble soul and above all, love for the homeland, love for compatriots, transformed into the aspiration to save the country and save the people.

Four precious memorial sites about Him in Duong No village are the memorial house where He once lived, Duong No communal house, Am Ba, and Ben Da which have been preserved for over a century, proving the affection and respect of the people of Hue in general and the people of Duong No village in particular for Him.

Duong No Village Festival 2025 from May 17 to 19 in the central space of Duong No village stretching from the communal house to the Memorial House on the Pho Loi River. Visitors and locals can immerse themselves in solemn rituals to pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh: the procession and offering of lotus flowers to him; experience extremely unique folk cultural activities such as enjoying Hue singing, Bai Choi art, cuisine, traditional crafts, and boat racing on the Pho Loi River...

Along with many meaningful activities celebrating Uncle Ho's birthday held nationwide, Duong No Village Festival is like a tribute to President Ho Chi Minh's contributions and sacrifices to the country and the people; it is the people's deep affection for him.
