Stable nationwide after a week of slight fluctuations

Northern region

Pig prices today (December 1, 2024) in the Northern region recorded stable prices compared to yesterday (November 30).

Currently, the price of live pigs in this area fluctuates from 61,000 - 63,000 VND/kg. Of which, Thai Binh and Phu Tho are trading the highest in the region, at 63,000 VND/kg.

Last week, the price of live pigs in the Northern region recorded fluctuations. Specifically, there was a decrease of one price in the first session of the week and a sporadically increased price in some localities in the middle and end of the week. Yesterday alone, Thai Nguyen increased one price to reach 62,000 VND/kg, the same price as Bac Giang , Hung Yen and Hanoi.

Central Highlands region

Similarly, the price of live pigs today (December 1, 2024) in the Central Highlands region also recorded no price adjustment compared to yesterday. Currently, the price of live pigs in this region is fluctuating mainly from 60,000 - 62,000 VND/kg, Lam Dong province has the highest price in the region, reaching 63,000 VND/kg.

Last week, the price of live pigs in the Central Highlands region continuously adjusted in some localities. Dak Lak was the province with the most fluctuations, when at the beginning of the week, the price of live pigs in this province dropped to 59,000 VND/kg and maintained this price afterwards. By November 29, the price of live pigs in Dak Lak had recovered, returning to 60,000 VND/kg.

Southern region

Similarly, the price of live pigs in the Southern region today (December 1, 2024) recorded no price increase/decrease compared to previous days.

Currently, the price of live pigs in this area fluctuates from 61,000 - 64,000 VND/kg. Of which, Kien Giang currently has the highest transaction price in the country, reaching 64,000 VND/kg.

Last week, the Southern region also recorded slight price fluctuations in some provinces and cities. Yesterday alone (November 30), Ba Ria - Vung Tau province increased by 1,000 VND/kg, reaching 63,000 VND/kg, with the same price in An Giang, Long An, Can Tho, Ca Mau, Tay Ninh and Soc Trang.
