EVNGENCO1 and Ban Ve Hydropower Company donated 1 billion VND to support people in communes in Western Nghe An affected by floods.

On July 27, Power Generation Corporation 1 (EVNGENCO1) in coordination with Ban Ve Hydropower Company directly visited, shared and supported people affected by storm No. 3 in the western communes of Nghe An province.

Attending the program were Mr. Phung Thanh Vinh - Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee; and representatives of relevant departments and branches of the province.
On the side of Power Generation Corporation 1 (EVNGENCO1), there was comrade Le Hai Dang - General Director of the Corporation. On the side of Ban Ve Hydropower Company, there was comrade Ta Huu Hung - Director of the Company. Also attending were representatives of the authorities of the communes: Tam Quang, Tam Thai, Tuong Duong, Luong Minh and Yen Na.

In order to share the difficulties with the people in the flood-affected areas, EVNGENCO1 and Ban Ve Hydropower Company have given a total of 1 billion VND to the above 5 communes, 200 million VND to each commune. This is the heart of the collective of officers, employees and workers in the whole Corporation, demonstrating the spirit of mutual love, mutual assistance and sharing with the community.

Representatives of local authorities of the communes expressed their deep gratitude to EVNGENCO1 and Ban Ve Hydropower Company. At the same time, they acknowledged this as a practical and timely action, demonstrating the social responsibility and the attachment of the enterprise to the people of the project area.

Previously, on June 1, EVNGENCO1 and Ban Ve Hydropower Company also organized a working group to visit and support 400 million VND for people in Huu Khuong and Nhon Mai communes (old Tuong Duong district), which were heavily affected by heavy rain, landslides and isolation on the night of May 29 and early morning of May 30.
