Facebook suddenly changed logo color on August 31 - Photo: THE DIRECT
According to discussions on global technology forums, this phenomenon seems to only occur for users of mobile devices updated to iOS 17.6.1, while other versions still retain the traditional logo color.
Facebook has not yet given any official explanation for this change.
Some speculate that the change could be related to Apple's upcoming iPhone launch event, scheduled for September 10 (Vietnam time). At this event, Apple will announce the new iPhone 16 series along with the iOS 18 upgrade.
In addition, some other opinions also believe that this change could be a marketing trick, to create curiosity and attract users' attention. This is not a new move in the application industry.
Although the specific reason has not been determined, the change in color of the Facebook logo is creating a wave of heated discussion in the user community, and many people are still waiting for an official response from Meta Platforms - Facebook's parent company.
