According to Decision No. 1423/QD-KTNN dated September 4, the State Audit (SA) will conduct an audit within 53 days on the results of the revaluation of tangible fixed assets of the three hydropower plants Hoa Binh , Tri An, Ialy, and the settlement of the value of the State capital at the time the parent company - Power Generation Corporation 2 (EVNGENCO2) officially transformed into a joint stock company.
The audited units include: Parent company - Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN); Office of Power Generation Corporation 2; EVNGENCO2 Branches: Can Tho Thermal Power Company, Song Bung Hydropower Company, An Khe - KaNak Hydropower Company, Quang Tri Hydropower Company, Trung Son Hydropower One Member Limited Liability Company.

According to Decision 1423/QD-KTNN, the audit objective is to confirm the truthfulness and reasonableness of the financial statements and the settlement of State capital at the time the parent company - EVNGENCO2 officially transformed into a joint stock company; at the same time, to evaluate the compliance with the law during the equitization process and the revaluation of fixed assets of the three hydropower plants Hoa Binh, Tri An, and Ialy.
In addition, auditing activities also aim to promptly detect acts of corruption, waste, violations and clearly identify the responsibilities of relevant collectives and individuals (if any) to recommend handling according to regulations.
The audit content focuses on: financial statements, State capital settlement reports at the time of conversion; compliance with the law on equitization and financial handling from the stage of determining enterprise value to the official conversion; along with the re-evaluation of tangible fixed assets of the three above-mentioned factories.
The audit scope includes the results of revaluation of fixed assets at 0:00 on July 1, 2021 and the settlement of the value of State capital from January 1, 2019 to 0:00 on July 1, 2021, while considering both the relevant previous and subsequent periods.
Speaking at the audit implementation conference held on September 9, Deputy State Auditor General Doan Anh Tho requested the audit team to comply with legal provisions, the State Audit Law, State Audit standards and audit objectives, contents and scope; organize the audit and issue the audit report within the prescribed time.
The State Audit leaders requested that the audited units coordinate closely, provide complete and timely information and documents and explain related issues as requested by the State Audit for the audit to be successful.
Leaders of EVN and EVNGENCO2 said they will coordinate and direct the audited units to strictly implement and provide full information to the audit team; at the same time, create favorable conditions for the audit team during the performance of their tasks.
