In late September 2025, Typhoon No. 10 (Buloi) with heavy rains caused damage to many provinces in the North Central region. Just a few days later, in early October, Typhoon No. 11 (Matmo) continued to cause floods in the northern mountainous provinces such as Bac Ninh , Thai Nguyen, and Lang Son, severely affecting thousands of households. In response to this situation, following the policy of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the Quang Ninh Red Cross Society called on clubs, teams, and volunteer groups to join hands in supporting the people in the disaster-affected areas, helping them overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

Immediately following the appeal, volunteer groups from Quang Ninh province promptly organized the collection of goods, mobilized resources, and directly set out to provide relief. Within just a few days, volunteer clubs under the Provincial Red Cross Society, along with many benefactors, transported over 52 tons of goods, essential supplies, and cash, totaling nearly 900 million VND, delivering them directly to flood victims in Quang Son, Dan Tien, Van Han, and Nam Hoa communes ( Thai Nguyen province) and My Thai and Tan Yen communes (Bac Ninh province). The relief efforts were coordinated through the Fatherland Front Committee, the Red Cross Society, and local authorities, ensuring that assistance reached the right people and the right places.
Among the participating organizations, the Tam Thanh Quang Ninh Charity Club donated 14 tons of goods and necessities, worth 245 million VND; the Tam Bang Huu Quang Ninh Club provided 4 tons of necessities and cash totaling 118 million VND; the Quang Yen Charity Club contributed 12 tons of goods, worth 210 million VND…
Ms. Hoang Thanh Thuy, Head of the Tam Thanh Club in Quang Ninh, said: "As soon as we learned about the difficulties faced by people in the flood-affected areas, we mobilized our members and called on the community on social media to join hands in helping. We hope that these gifts will help the people overcome the damage and stabilize their lives soon."

At the same time, the 24-Hour Blood Bank Club also mobilized resources to support people in Thai Nguyen and Lang Son provinces with a total value of 375 million VND, including money and in-kind donations. Club leader Ngo Thi Lien shared: "Not only did we raise funds, but we also directly visited the flooded areas to visit and encourage the people. Such trips help spread the spirit of compassion, so that each person can feel more deeply the value of sharing."
In addition to providing material support, the 116 Rescue Team of Quang Ninh, under the Provincial Red Cross Society, also directly participated in rescue operations, relocating people to safe areas, and transporting essential relief supplies in deeply flooded areas of Thai Nguyen province.
According to statistics from the Provincial Red Cross Society, during the heavy rains and floods caused by typhoons No. 10 and No. 11, Quang Ninh province had 10 charitable clubs, groups, and teams, along with hundreds of individuals, participating in support efforts, with a total value of over 2.1 billion VND.
The charitable convoys from Quang Ninh carried not only goods and money, but also the heartfelt compassion and warmth of human kindness to the flood-stricken people. This collective effort demonstrates a profound sense of humanity, a testament to a united and compassionate Quang Ninh – where every act of sharing contributes to spreading love and instilling hope in the people to overcome hardship.
