FPT Play broadcasts SEA Games Thailand 2025

In the journey of accompanying the development of national sports,FPT Play will bring the whole picture of the 33rd Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games Thailand 2025) and the most authentic images of Vietnamese athletes to domestic audiences from December 1.

FPT Play plans to produce and broadcast live the competitions within the framework of the SEA Games Thailand 2025 with professional commentary in Vietnamese from guests and sports experts, on the following infrastructures: terrestrial, cable, satellite, IPTV, Internet, mobile, public screening and exploitation on social networks... during the entire duration of the Games.

The list of sports that FPT Play is expected to broadcast includes 29 sports that will receive high-quality signals from the host country's television station and some sports that the Vietnamese team will compete in, which are actively produced by the unit. Among them, there are many sports that are receiving a lot of attention such as Badminton, Sepak Takraw, Basketball, E-Sports, Billiards - Snooker, Karate and Taekwondo...

FPT Play representative said that SEA Games Thailand 2025 is a special event for the unit in particular and the Vietnamese people in general. Through the production and broadcasting of the 33rd Southeast Asian Games, FPT Play wishes to accompany every step of the country's sports, while promoting interest and comprehensive development of all sports, not only with familiar sports but also with sports that are on the rise.

Technically, FPT Play continues to deploy new features with the goal of bringing exciting moments when watching SEA Games Thailand 2025. SEA Games Thailand 2025 officially opened on December 9 and will last until December 20, 2025. In addition to the main venue, Rajamangala Stadium, activities of SEA Games Thailand 2025 will be held at 60 different locations in Bangkok, Chonburi province and Songkhla province (Thailand).

The Organizing Committee announced that the 33rd Southeast Asian Games has 574 sets of medals, belonging to 50 official competitions: Aquatics, Athletics, Archery, Badminton, Basketball, Canoe and Rowing, Cycling, Horse Racing, Fencing, Football - Futsal, Golf, Gymnastics, Handball, Hockey, Judo, Rugby, Sailing, Shooting, Table Tennis, Taekwondo, Tennis, Triathlon, Volleyball, Wrestling, Skating, Ice Hockey, Modern Pentathlon, Weightlifting, Baseball and Softball, Billiards - Snooker, Boxing, Floorball, E-sports, Muay Thai, Netball, Pencak Silat, Biking Petanque, Sepak Takraw, Squash, Bowling, Extreme, Karate, Jujitsu, Cricket, Wushu, Kabaddi. In addition, SEA Games Thailand 2025 will also organize 4 demonstration sports: Disc Throw, Tug of War, Air Sports, MMA with 12 sets of medals not counted in the overall achievements.

The 2025 SEA Games Thailand marks the 7th time the Southeast Asian Games returns to Thailand, 18 years after the last hosting (2007). The event has a total of 12,506 athletes competing, from 11 sports delegations from 11 ASEAN member countries: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Timor-Leste, Vietnam and host country Thailand.
