Music Gala "Glory of Vietnam People's Public Security" and series of activities in Ho Chi Minh City

The music gala "Glory of Vietnam People's Public Security" and a series of sideline activities organized by the Ministry of Public Security on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of Uncle Ho's call for patriotic emulation (June 11, 1948 - June 11, 2025), towards the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025).

To prepare carefully, organize solemnly, safely, meaningfully and effectively, on May 8, in Hanoi, the Organizing Committee held a meeting to develop related contents. The meeting was chaired by Lieutenant General Nguyen Ngoc Toan, Assistant to the Minister of Public Security, Director of the Department of Political Work, Ministry of Public Security, with the participation of professional units, related units under the Ho Chi Minh City Police, Mobifone Telecommunications Corporation and Zeit Media Company.

The music gala “Glory of Vietnam People’s Public Security” and a series of sideline activities are events aimed at propagating and educating to raise awareness among cadres, soldiers and people of all walks of life to actively respond to the emulation movements “For National Security”, the movement “All people protect national security”; affirm and spread the achievements and results of the People’s Public Security force in studying and implementing Uncle Ho’s Six Teachings; build the image of a People’s Public Security soldier close to and friendly with the people.

Lieutenant General Nguyen Ngoc Toan, Assistant Minister of Public Security, Director of the Department of Political Work, Ministry of Public Security chaired the meeting.

The series of activities simultaneously encourage, motivate, and arouse pride in officers and soldiers, especially the young generation of the People's Public Security Forces, to promote tradition, voluntarily cultivate, train, strive to compete, and strive to successfully fulfill the task of protecting security and order, determined to build a truly clean, strong, disciplined, intelligent, and modern People's Public Security Force, contributing to building and defending the Fatherland. Through activities and programs aimed at propagating, training, and educating the law, helping people better understand and share the difficulties and hardships of the People's Public Security Force; encouraging and motivating people of all walks of life to join hands, be unanimous, actively coordinate, support, and help the People's Public Security Force to effectively perform the task of protecting security and order in the new situation.

The series of programs is expected to take place from June 6 to 8, 2025 (from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily) at Nguyen Hue walking street and Le Loi street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.

Speaking at the meeting, Lieutenant General Nguyen Ngoc Toan stated that the music gala “Glory of Vietnam People’s Public Security” and a series of sideline activities were successfully held in the central area of ​​Hanoi in March 2025, attracting a large number of people and tourists, especially young people. The series of programs held in Ho Chi Minh City must promote the above results, while ensuring newer content and a larger scale. The program still aims to reach a young audience but must be different, both attractive, ensuring propaganda work, and ensuring the requirements and tasks of the People’s Public Security force.

At the meeting, General Director of the program Nguyen Huu Trung and the production team presented ideas and proposed specific contents. Representatives of the units also discussed and contributed many practical ideas to perfect the contents of the activities. Accordingly, the music gala "Glory of Vietnam People's Public Security" in Ho Chi Minh City will have the participation of 9 currently beloved artists, including singers Tung Duong, My Tam, Van Mai Huong, Nguyen Tran Trung Quan, Soobin Hoang Son. Artists of the CAND Music and Dance Theater will perform the grand musical scene, dance poem "White Poplars" - a work about the heroine Vo Thi Sau. The artists will perform many works praising the homeland, the CAND force, and at the same time perform songs associated with the names of each artist. The Drum Festival Art Troupe of the People's Police Academy will combine with the symphony orchestra to perform the opening performance of the Gala night. The sideline activities include many impressive performances, exhibitions and many experiential activities carried out by professional units and training schools of the People's Public Security Forces and Ho Chi Minh City Police. Notably, in this sideline activities, there will still be a high-tech exhibition room and a museum displaying artifacts of the People's Public Security Forces to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Forces' Traditional Day and the 77th anniversary of Uncle Ho's call for patriotic emulation.

The units will organize many activities for people to participate in real-life experiences, such as: Fire prevention and rescue activities, identifying traffic signs, handling situations in virtual reality space; solving problems related to social order, warning about the harmful effects of drugs, applying VNeiD, experiencing digital citizenship; training, physical challenges, climbing ropes, climbing walls, finding the exit in dark caves, swinging to the ground...

The Organizing Committee is expected to display a number of equipment, vehicles, weapons and military equipment of the Public Security Forces to demonstrate their strength at Nguyen Hue Walking Street Square, perform trumpet music, train police dogs, fight against crime, demonstrate motorbikes leading convoys, escorting and protecting VIPs, etc.

Representatives of the units contributed many practical ideas to best organize the chain of activities.

Representatives of the units agreed that the exhibition area and the experience booths must use storytelling language suitable for young people, and increase the application of technology to attract young people to participate and experience. Instead of designing independent exhibition booths, in Ho Chi Minh City, the implementation team should calculate to connect the exhibition booths of the units, ensuring effective propaganda, especially in propaganda to warn about the tricks of cyber criminals, high-tech criminals, drug criminals, how to recognize and prevent crimes... Promote the use of AI technology in combination with KOLs to create attraction for activities. Sideline activities should also be organized earlier to serve more, attract more people and tourists to participate...
