Nearly 200 journalists compete in the Central Highlands Journalism Sports Festival

The 2025 Central Highlands Open Press Sports Festival attracted nearly 200 athletes who are journalists, reporters, and workers working at press agencies from the Journalists Associations of the provinces: Gia Lai, Dak Lak , Dak Nong, Kon Tum, Lam Dong, Phu Yen and the Resident Reporters Club in Gia Lai.

The Organizing Committee presented souvenir flags and flowers to the delegations participating in the Sports Festival.

During 2 days (May 16 and 17), athletes competed in 6 events: men's mini soccer, men's and women's volleyball, badminton, tug of war, table tennis and sack race.

Athletes of Dak Nong Provincial Journalists Association (purple shirt on the left) have excellently won the championship in mixed men's and women's volleyball.

On the morning of May 16, athletes of the Dak Nong Provincial Journalists Association excellently won the championship in men's and women's mixed volleyball and second prize in women's doubles badminton.

The sports festival was organized to practically celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day. This is a source of encouragement and motivation for each journalist to constantly strive, practice political qualities, professional capacity, serving the cause of Vietnam revolutionary press to become increasingly clean, strong and modern.
