Nearly 500 candidates in Hanoi skip 10th grade exam procedures

According to the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, the number of absent candidates may be due to having decided to study vocational training, private schools, etc.

Specifically, the number of candidates present at the procedure session this morning was more than 102,000 at 201 testing locations, accounting for 99.52%. Number of non-specialized testing rooms: 4,411; Number of backup testing rooms: 201.

The number of officers, teachers and staff present was more than 15,000, reaching a rate of 99.97%. Absent exam invigilators were assigned backup teachers according to regulations.

In the whole city of Hanoi, there are 11 candidates who need support to take the exam due to health problems and need medical support.

According to the assessment of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, the facilities at the examination sites are fully prepared according to regulations, 100% of the examination sites coordinate with security forces and police to fully prepare plans to ensure safety and security in the examination site and the area outside the gate.

Each testing site has a backup generator. The Department of Education and Training has directed to strengthen security measures at testing sites such as: rooms, cabinets for storing test papers and exam papers; security camera system; personnel...

The preservation of candidates' personal belongings, plans to ensure food hygiene and safety, traffic coordination, storm and flood prevention, etc., are closely coordinated.

This year's 10th grade high school exam in Hanoi took place on June 7-8 with 3 exams: math, literature, and foreign language.

Of which, math and literature are essay tests (120 minutes), foreign languages ​​are multiple choice tests (60 minutes). Candidates taking the specialized exam will take the specialized subject test on June 9, for 150 minutes.

Previously, on the morning of June 5, about 201 teachers assigned to be test site leaders officially received their duties.

The examination sites held leadership meetings, assigned specific tasks to each member in the spirit of "clear people, tight work", and at the same time reviewed and inspected all facilities; received stationery, exam papers, scratch paper, etc.

After receiving the handover of facilities from the host school, the heads of the examination sites confirmed that the sites have ensured safety conditions and are ready to welcome candidates to register for the exam this morning (June 6).

Hanoi has arranged 201 official examination sites with more than 4,400 examination rooms, along with a system of backup examination sites in districts, towns, and cities, ready to respond to unexpected situations such as bad weather, power outages, or other objective factors.
