  • BL9 Premium Rice: A Journey to Affirming Quality

In the rice fields, which are nearing harvest, the rice plants are growing uniformly, their leaves still green, demonstrating the effectiveness of the organic microbial farming process. The use of biological preparations ensures the rice plants receive sufficient nutrients, resulting in firmer and more uniform grains. Notably, the well-organized production process, with the support of cooperatives and businesses, significantly reduces the labor required for farmers. After harvesting and deducting expenses, farmers still earn a profit of over 5 million VND per hectare.

These rice fields bear the brand name of Mr. Dien.

According to Mr. Ly Minh De, a farmer in Vinh Thanh commune who owns nearly 2 hectares of rice fields participating in the organic rice production process of Ong Dien rice, "We grow clean rice according to the guidelines of Misun Group. Farmers only need to have land and put in the effort to care for the rice for the group; the technical aspects are handled by the group's staff. For cultivation, farmers like us only need to inspect the fields and report on the progress of the rice plants. The average yield is 700-800 kg/hectare, with stable profits, and the group guarantees the purchase at a fixed price of 11,000 VND/kg."

Farmers participating in the organic rice production process - Ong Dien Rice - visit the fields.

"Since farmers started producing rice using organic methods, they have more free time and better health because they don't have access to chemicals or pesticides. Therefore, through this Mekong Delta Delicious Rice Contest, we farmers want to promote our safe rice products so that more people know about them and use them to improve their health," shared Mr. Quach Van Kia from Lang Tron ward.
