On May 28, in Hanoi , the Television Drama Production Center (Vietnam Television) launched the TV series "Rainbow on the Horizon".

The film directed by Vu Minh Tri, written by Tran Dieu Linh and edited by Lai Phuong Thao, is a simple yet profound story, revolving around two single-parent families living next to each other in the same apartment building. One is Tuan - a single father, who takes care of his young daughter while shouldering the responsibility of his senile father. The other family is Oanh - a single mother raising her child amidst the pressure of "making ends meet".

Tuan and Oanh have different personalities but share many things in common: Both are trying to balance work, children and family. Another big thing in common is that Tuan and Oanh did not expect that the role of domestic helpers in the family would be so important. Their presence or absence clearly affects the lives of both families. And more than that, they also bring surprises, helping Tuan and Oanh see new things in a life that seemed to be full of responsibilities and work.
The film does not tell a story of youthful love, but rather a belated yet profound love, where people who thought they no longer needed love dare to believe and open their hearts again. Along with that love story is an emotional journey about family, old age and loneliness behind the silver hair.

From a light-hearted humorous perspective, the film “Rainbow on the Horizon” brings stories and situations that are both funny and sad, but also lessons for each audience to reflect on and look back at their own lives.
Editor Lai Phuong Thao said that, besides the stories about single-parent families, the film also focuses on the domestic worker character to share stories and gain a deeper insight into their position in today's family life.
This reunion of Trong Lan - Tuan and Anh Dao - Oanh will be a mature, experienced and hurt image but still attractive enough and show chemistry in acting.

In addition, the participation of veteran and talented actors also contributes to creating a different tone in the film. Meritorious Artist Linh Hue and artist Khanh Linh play the two maids Tuyet and Nga. Through their lens, small but profound lessons on how to love, how to listen and how to share are gradually revealed.

The film also features Meritorious Artist Thanh Binh, artist Tu Oanh and two cute child actors An Nhien and Gia Nghia. Another interesting point is that Anh Dao's partner - actor Anh Tuan will play the role of Oanh's ex-husband in the film.
