Hoan Kiem received nearly 1.5 billion VND in support of the "For the Poor" Fund

On the afternoon of October 30, Hoan Kiem ward held the launching ceremony of the Peak Month "For the Poor" and social security in 2025.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Chairman of Hoan Kiem Ward People's Committee Trinh Hoang Tung emphasized: "The Peak Month for the Poor is an opportunity for each citizen and organization to promote the tradition of solidarity and humanity of our nation. Every contribution, no matter how small, contributes to bringing joy, faith and determination to rise up for those who still have many difficulties in life."

Thereby affirming the role of social security work, demonstrating the deep concern of the Party Committee, government and people of Hoan Kiem ward for the poor and disadvantaged - those who need to be shared and accompanied on the local development journey.

Pursuant to Decision No. 01/QD-BVĐ dated October 28, 2025 of the "For the Poor" Fund Mobilization Committee of Hoan Kiem Ward, in 2025, the ward will allocate funds to support 146 cases in difficult circumstances, of which: 23 especially difficult cases will be supported with 3.5 million VND/person (including 3 million VND in cash and 1 gift bag worth 500,000 VND); 123 difficult cases will be supported with 1 million VND/person in cash.

Although the gifts are not of great value, they contain the affection, responsibility and sharing of the community, giving the disadvantaged households more strength to rise up in life, affirming the value of humanity, the spirit of solidarity and kindness of Hanoi people.

At the ceremony, the "For the Poor" Fund Mobilization Committee of Hoan Kiem ward received a total of 1,495 billion VND in donations from agencies, units, businesses, organizations, individuals and philanthropists in the area.

Each contribution and each gift given is a flame of love lit, so that no one is left behind on the journey to build a "civilized - affectionate - prosperous" Hoan Kiem ward.
