Opening of Quang Ninh Culinary Festival 2025 - A destination converging culinary quintessence

On the evening of October 30, at Sun Carnival Square (Bai Chay Ward), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ninh organized the opening ceremony of the Quang Ninh Culinary Festival 2025 with the theme "Quang Ninh - Destination of culinary quintessence". Attending the opening ceremony were Ms. Phan Linh Chi, Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, representatives of departments, branches, businesses, tourism associations inside and outside the province, and a large number of tourists.

Delegates participate in the countdown ceremony to open the Festival.

The opening ceremony began with vibrant performances such as “Echoes of Heritage”, “Keeping Ha Long Green”, “Brilliant Days of Quang Ninh ”, imbued with the colors of the coal region. The highlight was the cocktail mixing performance “Quang Ninh - Come and Get Drunk” by two bartenders Nguyen Duy Khanh and Duong Xuan Thanh, combining special wines such as Purple Ba Kich, Golden Flower Tea, and Yen Tu Apricot Wine.

The audience also enjoyed a performance of making Ha Long squid rolls by artist Le Quyet, runner-up of "Golden Spoon" 2013 - 2014.

The festival is expected to take place until November 2, 2025, bringing together about 200 domestic and international booths, divided into three areas: International cuisine, Vietnamese regional cuisine and Quang Ninh cuisine. Visitors will enjoy hundreds of typical dishes, participate in the workshop "Discovering Quang Ninh cuisine ", interact with food bloggers, and experience virtual reality technology (VR/AR) to introduce raw material areas.

The Organizing Committee honored the chefs who won special prizes at the Festival.

During the opening ceremony, the Organizing Committee honored outstanding chefs and booths, awarded many prizes from Encouragement to Special, along with sub-categories such as beautiful booths, good presentations, creative cuisine and unique international exchanges. With the combination of culture - cuisine - tourism , the Quang Ninh Food Festival 2025 brings a unique "flavour feast", affirming the brand of an attractive, friendly and creative destination, and at the same time being an outstanding tourism stimulus activity, contributing to spreading the image of Quang Ninh tourism.
