The official signing ceremony took place in the presence of General Secretary To Lam, Vietnamese leaders, and Mr. Matt Western, the UK Prime Minister's Special Envoy to the Vietnam-UK High-Level Economic Conference.
The event is part of General Secretary To Lam 's visit to the United Kingdom, a historic milestone marking the upgrading of relations between the two countries to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, opening up a phase of extensive cooperation in the fields of aviation, technology, and investment.

These advanced Trent 7000 engines will be installed on a fleet of 40 A330neo aircraft, ready for direct flights to Europe in the near future. In addition to the engine purchase contract, Vietjet continues to choose comprehensive maintenance services, optimizing operational efficiency and extending the engines' service life.
This order helps Vietjet improve operational efficiency, reduce emissions, provide safe, convenient, and modern services for passengers, while also creating more jobs for people in the United Kingdom, promoting innovation in aviation technology, and strengthening economic and investment relations between Vietnam, the United Kingdom, and Europe.
